Hey Mel, thats great advice! I’ve made that change, you can tell by my use of the word ‘diameter’ in inverted commas that I could not figure out the proper word for the life of me! Thanks so much for suggesting it, I’d much rather I was helpful than confusing!

Chantel, hmmm thats strange, maybe your oven isn’t hot enough or it could be the gluten free flour you’re using. You need a quite fine dry flour, dont use one with a bean flour in it they tend to be too moist. White Wings GF blend is made of maize and potato mostly, its very fine, almost resembles talcom powder. Let me know if any of that is helping? I also think if you make extra sure they dough is cold. I have found the warmer the dough the more they tend to loose shape. Good luck!

Hi Janeyb, sorry I missed your comment. The peg dollies I just ordered plain ones off etsy, they’re very inexpensive and painted them with paint. One tip, seal them after you’ve painted them with a varnish or something (non-toxic of course) because the second they got played with with sticky fingers the paint became a blurry mess! Good luck!

I made these on the weekend as we have alot of people at work that are gluten intolerant, these have gone down a treat. and really quite easy to make.

Hi, Thank you for this help for making a fitted sheet, I look forward to trying it out for making bassinet fitted sheets for my upcoming baby arrival Just for you to know, the word ‘diameter’ should be replaced with ‘perimeter’ or ‘circumference’ so as not to confuse people. For example the diameter of a circle is the width across that circle, whilst the measurement the whole way around the outside of the circle is its circumference
